New Resources Available On the National Search and Rescue Committee Web Site
For those of you who have never visited or haven’t visited recently the National Search and Rescue Committee Web site, several new resources have been posted. Some of the items of interest to SAR teams include a copy of the National SAR Plan of the US updated this year; new information on SAR Responder Risk Management and georeferencing information for SAR responders. References for the US National Grid (USNG) and Global Area Reference System (GARS) are available as well.
